Des chambres d’hôtes du Vault Picot, vous pouvez rejoindre Cancale en un peu plus d’une demi-heure.
Nous vous proposons une magnifique balade de 2 heures autour de la Pointe du Grouin (demandez-nous la carte IGN). N’oubliez pas votre pic-nic ! Vous découvrirez ainsi deux côtes bien différentes : la “sauvage” et la “méditerranéenne”. Vous pourrez vous baigner deux fois : à mi-chemin sur la plage sauvage de la Moulière et à l’arrivée à Port-Mer. Vous pourrez ensuite aller flâner sur le port de Cancale : il y aura moins de monde…

• garez votre voiture à Port-Mer
• remontez sur la route (D201) vers Cancale
• prenez à droite pour traverser ensuite la presqu’île par la rue des Tintiaux
• traversez prudemment la D201 et allez sur la droite pour trouver le sentier qui rejoint le GR
• allez faire une pause sur la plage ou bien prenez directement le GR sur droite
• suivez le GR jusqu’à la Pointe du Grouin, sur la côte “sauvage” orientée Nord-Ouest
• découvrez tranquillement la Pointe du Grouin…
• revenez sur Port-Mer par la côte “méditerranéenne” orientée Sud-Est
• c’était beau, non ?

From Vault Picot Bed and Breakfast, you can reach Cancale in about half an hour.
We suggest you a beautiful trip for 2 hours around the Pointe du Grouin (ask us for a detailed map). Don’t forget a picnic! You will thus discover two coasts very different: one “wild” the other “mediterranean”. You can bath twice : at half of the trip on the wild beach of La Moulière and at the arrival at Port-Mer. Then you can stroll on Cancale’s port : there will be fewer people…

• park your car at Port-Mer
• back on the road (D201) to Cancale
• turn right for crossing the peninsula by Rue des Tintiaux
• carefully cross the D201 and go right to find the path that joins the “GR” (large path)
• go for a break on the beach or take directly right on the GR
• follow the GR to the Pointe du Grouin, by the “wild” coast facing North-West
• discover quietly the Pointe du Grouin…
• return to Port-Mer by the “mediterranean” coast facing South-East
• was beautiful, right?
